AMANDA CLOUD is my first true pink introduction
from MOMENTUM. Each bloom opens perfectly
and consistently, with her distinctive ruffles, slight
recurved form and light green throat. The plant
habit is DORMANT like MOMENTUM but the color
is a clear, medium pink which is very pretty. Color
holds well Attractive foliage.

red color that competes with the best. The
pod parent, KING’s BUSINESS, which
comes from the clear red of the late Virginia
Peck’s SCARLOCK, then the Varner ILLINI
JACKPOT with its super branching from Ed
Murray, and CHICAGO BRAVE from the
James Marsh “Chicago” breeding. This
breeding is healthy, “tried and true,” and
with Dormancy! The pollen parent is B.G.
PINCKNEY having produced several
introductions from VELVET BEADS.
Provides good garden color balance...

FEED MY SHEEP has wide, wide petals with
ruffled edges that sometimes curl into owl
ears. Some days the bloom is a purely creamy
shade, or on others sometimes there is a hint
of blush, or even pale yellow. FEED MY
SHEEP is from MOMENTUM and an unknown
white which should provide some very
interesting seedlings with a kaleidoscope

FISHERS OF MEN is a spidery-type that sets
pods, is from the GRAM’S DREAM line, and
has TEETH. I believe this daylily is 9” bloom
size, but I don’t see it written anywhere at this
point. I know FISHERS OF MEN is noticeably
larger, taking on that elongated shape of
larger blooms, is more to the mauve pink with
a slightly darker eye, and more toothy than
her sister PINK AWAY.....$100

You can believe I used this pollen on everything it
seems and I had some wonderfully toothy things in
my seedling patch this past summer. I can think of 2
Futures right off the top of my head - #11/1/3 a
toothy rose red, and another #11- bed seedling that
is a blush color with teeth and an eye,both
outstanding. GRIPPING POWER is more of a pink
than a lavender pink which is what I had originally
thought. It has a light lavender eye, a green throat,
with white midrib and white TEETH. I was really
blown away when I saw GRIPPING POWER with a
polytepal bloom of 4 petals and sepals, with Teeth!.
This is one of my most favorite daylilies , and I just
couldn’t hang onto it any longer since I don't
know of any other Toothy Pink Tets . Fertile both
ways, but pollen is a bit scant; however fertile as
long as it is picked early. Unfortunately, GRIPPING
POWER is Very Limited.......$150

GREATER LOVE HATH NO MAN is from
one of my red breeding lines, but
somehow those identifications got lost
somewhere between North and South
Carolina. I used to know the parents, but
not now, I’m sorry to say, but I Do know
it is FRAGRANT which I always think is
special, especially in a red. This one has
a slight white edging, a faintly darker eye
and a pretty form with ruffles.
